got any pics? ive yet to see any orinos with cheek markings like that. one thing to note, is that the cheek markings on orinos seem to get smaller as they grow, and Tem's markings become bigger. many orinos even end up losing the cheek markings completely that they showed at a young age.

just to validate the my opinion. happen to digg this one up, copied and pasted.:)

great looking orino, but those cheek markings are NOTHING like the fish on the first page. the markings in your pic are fairly typical of orinos

Nice fish Mike. Did it come in with the two I have?

Infortunatly no. Only had 5 of them, some spread out and some casualties. I believe only 3 are still around. =-(

Care to translate? And Don't tems get the "spangles" on the top part of there tails?

Not necessarily, that fish's tail is completely red in the lower half, rare on orinos, plus the head shape and barring are completely wrong to be an orino. Just because some website says it is doesn't mean that is true. It is a tem.

Then whats the point of even trying to ID this fish or any fish then? Most of the people have no clue to what this bass is, so, they (me to) look online to fine the closest ID to the fish that needs ID'ing...yes? Just because you say it's a tem does it make it true?
