Looks like a smaller version of this one.

This is a Orino from Paraguay river. Different location.

Funny thing is, I have yet made a comment that it was for sure a orino...DID I? I was stating that the site I have given, stated that they where orino's. I was pointing out that same markings as the smaller ones that Jcar posted in the first set of picture COULD end up looking like the fish I posted. So believe what you want pimp. :grinno: And I will still believe them/fish sites, WELL before you.

And...Zebra's are pink, once you tag um' with a Berrett 50.Cal. Anything else guy?
You sure about that? Because you did say that it was an orino.

Either way, I'm done trying to convince you of my point.

I read. And nowhere in that original post did you clarify that. All you said was the fish was an orino.

Its really nice looking. Whatever it is i want one. :)

all i know is that i've got something that looks 90% similiar to the fish on the first page in my tank right this moment:)

Lets see it !!!!!

ok.. i'm no expert, and i don't believe that collection location has a lot to do with the variations of the patterns on fish of the same species. especially when they are minute differences.

the fish that i see in JCardona's original post looks to me like it is an Ocellaris or an Ocell/Orino mix. the one further down on the page that is clearly identified as an Orino IS an Orino, NOT a Temensis as I 3>fish wants us all to believe.

you can all call me wrong.. but that's what i see. and that's what i would call that fish if it was in my tank.

Well i don't have current pics of it, but i do have some old ones taken when it was just 6". fish is currently 10" & is still hardly showing any spangling on the anal fin, unlike my other 10" specimen.

close up, note cheek marks & body/head structure, very different from regular kelberi..difference in body/head structure is even more pronounced now that the fish is bigger:P

closeup.jpg

The fish in question is the center-top one, you can see that none of the other fish have similiar cheek markings, although they are from the same batch of "wild caught kelberi"

again, fish is on the right. its spots are much larger now @ 10"

just for fun, pic of my other kelberi 4" ago:P

so what's the verdict? similiar to the fish in page 1 or just an odd kelberi?
