Hey guys, got a few questions about snails..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've personally had quite a bit of success with japanese trapdoors, they reproduce twice per year and from all of my experience with them they're great cleaners and pretty hardy.

If you put 5 in a tank like the one in my video up there, you will have more than you can imagine within a month

I got 6 nerite snails an 5 mystery snails right now. I've had the mystery snails for a about two months but no signs of breeding yet. I'm hoping nerite will help me with algea control. I have one flowerhorn so I can't add a pleco

To breed mystery snails
But on a serious note the most important things are
-lowered water
- siphon out their waste into a 2 liter bottle and replace 1 liter of water, you need very clean water and they poo ALOT, possibly use 2 filters or you are gonna have a bad time when they hatch out

-Turning off the light at night , and having light during the day. It doesn't have to be perfect as long as you do it at least once a day
