I'll figure something out!

heres a pic i just took of mine...BGK 005.JPG

Ahh nice, looks like you got to make ur slate tunnel a lil bigger soon :P
I don't think i'll use slates.
Think i'm going to try make a tunnel or cave with my wood, hopefully i can!

I prefer a more "natural" looking tank :P slates and ornaments are not my kinda thing haha!

Thanks,
Swarsh

In my opinion a BGK deserves his own tank and really good tankmates would be bichirs and some though catfishes and syno cats. MY BGK was from a HORROR movie. left my bichirs alone. As a child took out the eyes of my most expansive sterbai cories...as it grew and moved on to bigger tanks, took out the eyes of my bush fish and NTT, and bit the throat off of my butterfly fish, as it moved on to that tank, took out the eyes of my 1 foot gar(twice his size) the first night... next night it came to finish it off my biting its throat off.... REALLY bad experience.... never touched my bichirs though lol.

to add to the good part... he did swim around during lights on, liked to be touched, ate straight from my hand and wasnt shy at all. though when I first got him it took me 2 months to get him out of hiding, had to be really patient.
