Woll...a Clown Knife can get up to 30" in captivity, a Black Ghost Knife can get up to 20" in captivity (but they grow slow), an African Brown Knife will get 8"-12" (not as colorful, but a cool knife fish). Those are the normal knife fish that you'll see in pet stores. The occassional Royal and Golden Knife are just as big as the Clown Knife.

good choice thats what ive got, great fish and mine hasnt even settled in yet. i would save up for a little more time and get a tank big enough for a ck tho......

I think im going to go with a african brown knife they are pretty cool and last suggestions!!!!!!

is there any way to examen them before i buy them to see what one will be most active
