Great idea! And I live just outside of Des Moines on the EAST SIIIIIIDDDDEEEE!!! Hahahahaha... and Warmouth:
I think channel cats are awesome, I love the spots on them when they're little! And the record for IA is 38 lbs 2 oz. Wimpy compared to your states! Maybe I'll get lucky some day and break that record! Lol

Good luck on breaking that record! Im sure you guys have cats just as big as us up there , there just smarter than the ones down here (I only catch the dumb fish, the smart ones know its gotta hook in it!) Yeah I also love the markings on small channel cats......... they have spotted bullheads down in Georgia which are real pretty and dont get over 14 inches long.

I am not an Aro expert I will take your word for it, that is a black. How do you tell the difference? In the past it was spending a lot of time on the bottom breathing hard and its skin and eye color was kind of dull and it was starting to have some gill curl. It and the Discus looked much brighter and healthier last time I saw them.

I'm not a Aro expert either, but I'm learning. And you are right,it is a silver. I don't think they know what they have. They are calling it a blue,so I assumed it was what people here call blacks. It does look good though. He cruises at the top of the tank. When I asked some questions about it,they wanted me to buy it,so it is for sale.I didn't ask how much though.

They are re-modeling the store. They have always seemed more like a SW store, than FW. Maybe with the store re-do they will start to get more into the monster fish. Who knows though. It seems like Adam's Aquatics is more SW too,but I love that place. They will order anything you want.
