Well, never thought about doing a thread on it....don't see much to discuss. But, I'll guess I can post some pics soon. Here is the pond this past winter...snow covered and fully iced over

Thanks. I'm trying to keep it super simple and cheap. I even tried adding a timer to shut off the pump at night to save on electricity, but then the upper pond container back drained into the lower one once the power went off. I suppose if I had a check ball valve it would work but i don't so I'm running the pump all the time now. It will only be for the summer anyway so im not that concerned.
