just wanting to say high...just found this page and am very interested to learn more about my catfish and what can and cannot go with him. he's only about 6 inches long right now but i'm sure in a 180 gal tank he's gonna grow. i'm sure he is a rtc x tsn

Hi, you're going to get a lot of good information on this site. Your catfish is going to get quite large (probably at or beyond 2 feet) with proper care and even a 180 will not be sufficient. It will however be a good tank to get your guy big and healthy (a nice growout). But once he gets too large you will have to upgrade to a pond or the very least about a 300g tank. At his current size in your tank you can have some tank mates but youre going to need heavy filtration as well. Just be sure they're too large for him to eat them. Let us know what you're looking for and we can help you out with picking good fish for your set up. We love pictures and always include as much info as possible. I hope people don't give you too much trouble since you have such a large growing fish but with this site you will soon learn the requirements of your catfish.
