I have an Oscar and a Pleco and am thinking about a good tank mate.
I want something really cool, and not a catfish, the pleco is all the catfish i need :D

you guys all talk like you need a 1000 gallon pool for one oscar =( Ive seen an oscar and 2 pbass grow in a 75 and they love life.

I just need enough biomedia and adequate filtration to handle the bioload i was just looking for a list of possible tank mates, i didnt say the tank was permanent

Archocentrus Centrarchus...

Archocentrus Multispinosa

Thorichthys Meeki or any thorichthys...

Tire track or Fire eels of good size...

Amphilophus Lyonsi Possibly other amphilophus..

Temporalis

Severums...

The list is pretty large... Mainly depending on the soon future..

Tank mate for my oscar are stated in my Sig' which are currently in a 120Gal , soon to be upgrading to a 300gal .

My Oscar is currently 5.5inch , the Biggest Fish in there is one of the Common Pleco at
13inch and the rest are from 9inch - 2inch .

All my fish are fine together but the Blackbelt and Reddevil can be a little pushy .

But you do need alesat 75Gal per Oscar and then if you are wanting to add other fish a bigger tank would be best for the fish .

Oscars grow around 12inch and if you Pleco is a Common Pleco they can grow around 18 - 24inch so IMO you will need to upgrade in the near furture .

I see someone making lots of friends :)

Simple as. Your tank isn't big enough for the fish you have. Deal with it, your full. :)
