Why are pleco no good? Mines in with one and 3 cory cats . Not had a problem yet been 6 months.

I also have 3 Bala sharks a African peacock chiclid had a red shark but got eaten n tired a electric blue cichlid but that also got eaten =( LOL
was also wondering what kind of filtration is best cuz I always have to do water changes like ever week do I have to many fish for a 40 gallon tank? help plz

Water changes every week is bare minimum around here for the most members...

I do 50% if not close to that on all my tanks each week from a small 10G to my 200G

As for stocking not really familar with your fish so will leave that for some one else to andwer

every pleco i have had they were boring to me they are cool looking and all but boring to me

yep, they are boring, and I'm sure you are not going deep enough in fish keeping!
pleco have their own fun way if you spend some time with them! I think some pleco that grow to about 6-8'' should be ok!
