Both pictures don't even show the underside of the mouth, if it did its not the shape of the mouth its the lines underneath & pores.

I agree with Lacerdae, Any idea where he was collected from George?

Look at the reflection....very clear the under mouth is pointed

What is the issue the 'pores'??? These guys confuse the hell out of me!

Even the parrallel vs pointed jaw lines contradict, based on that I have read.

The basic rule is if the under jaw is pointed, its a Mala. If the under jaw is rounded, its Loricane
 
It a Hoplias Lacerdae...
At the moment only them have wavy marking on it body.
But they still look different to each other from different catchment area.
