where i go the dorms only close for constrution. 10 gal limit unless you but a permit. then the limit is 55. my friend invested in many 10 gals and hooked the together via large tubes. i was smart i bought a permit and put in a 75. (same base lenth and width) since thats all they mesured

I have a 6 gallon and a 3 gallon on my desk. I have a betta in the 3 gallon and a group of Dario dario in the 6. Both tank are planted.

I recommend going low-tech.
