white clouds do the same

Onion can you talk to my OH ? Ive been asking for a 6x2x2 as we have the perfect alcove for it for the last 2 years... but since its an old house and we would have to reinforce the floors my OH is just not playing the game. He says the closest Im going to get to being a real MFK is he is throws some trout in our dams :( I just dont think he understands.. atm all I have to make do with is this tank.. a 35gal with a single tiger barb (he had a 7"bala with him but he passed away at 5 years of age a month ago :( ) and a pond with a couple of goldies in it that i never see.

Danyal .. My beta is going to live out his existance in this tank.. on his own.. I have no idea how old he is as he has been passed through a few pairs of hands.. so Im just thinking of what my options are in the future.. :)

Ive been reading the suggestions and I really like the DP idea.. tho Im going to have to look into a better filter.. as they seem to like such heavily planted.. and are so messy and being that the base of this tank is small its going to make cleaning the substrate difficult.

Ive also never seem them here in Oz.. so Ill have to look into it (mind you I was never looking.)

what is OH? But hey, don't worry. It isn't the fish or tank that makes you an MFK, it is what you do with what you have. If you can't get a 180g, make the best out of you current tank. If you do get something close to a 55g, look up exodon paradoxus (awesome fish!)
