Hi just joined as been viewing for ages now and love the site

i have just set up a 5x2x2 and current stock is

4 firemouths around 2.5-3" unknown sex
7 columbian tetra of a good size lol
8 albino corydoras
1 gold nugget pleco

tank has sand base large driftwood anubias and java fern with seriou stone

running white and blue marine tube for lighting and led moonlight for through the night

300 watt heater

fluval fx5 filter

and do you think this stock will work long term and is there a chance i could add a pair of convicts 1m 1f or if better 2f ?

Looks good, you could fit alot more fish in that!

Eventually you should keep only a pair of firemouths, and perhaps add another laid back cichlid. One of the medium sized acaras, or rainbow cichlids

Firemouths do well in groups, and you can fit much more fish in a 5ft.

Jack Dempsey or a Green Terror, some catfish etc

cool so if i was to stick with the firemouths how many would be a good number and what sort of catfish could i have

sorry for all the questions i dont know all that much and dont want a tank full of fighting lol
