Loving the aquascaping in that tank, awesome center piece for that room. If you don't mind leaving the South American biotype, a couple African Brown Knifefish would look stunning in your tank! Keep it up!

That's way too conservative, lol. He can have significantly more fish than that in a 5 x 2 setup.
A group of clown loaches would look great in that tank. And there's some nice rock work in there that would be appreciated by a decent sized catfish. Maybe a gulper?

The gulper catfish would probably eat tankmates.you have many Ca choices.cutteri, panamensis, nics.I would try a large mellow type.chocolate, pearsei, bou corti

you could defiantly add a pair of convicts I would do a lot more as well. Maybe a couple jds or texas would keep the fry down in a tank that size I think you could do much more. Hell I have tanks half that size with much much much much more. your setup is very nice though.
Go for a school of clown loaches! They will be your favorite!! Might eat plants? Mine love zucchini!

cheers everyone a lot of choice available then 
i have removed my 3 swordtails and now have 7 columbian tetra
but would like to still add more i may go for the cown loaches though sounds good and may also get nics as i love them if they are possible
