hi all thanks for the welcome. i got into keeping cichla after watching some of diesalmacks vids on youtube and its grown the last 3 years i think they are 1 of the best fish to keep. yeah it was a big loss especially the orinocensis it was the 1st pbass i had and a real stunner. hope the new guys turn out just as good,they are feeding well on bloodworm and prawn/shrimp what else could i try feeding them 2 bring them on?? couple more pics for you.
My Bass enjoy tilapia the farmed flash frozen fillets chop into small pieces for your little guys bet they like it...
not sure if i can get my hands on them but will try and source some on the net, do you know if prawn a good enough food for them at the moment? Im also trying to introduce a variety of foods for them as i dont want them to get too fussy. my last lot of fish would only take prawn and occasionaly pellets and i was never sure was it enough for them. Thanks
