Hi and help ;)

Thanks Sean ;) I haven't got any aquarium salt left (I used the last of it up treating my cardinal tetra's for saddleback a few months ago) but I've turned the heat up to 86 (it was already at 84) but at the moment it doesn't seem to be making much difference :( I know it's not an instant remedy but I'm getting worried now. I rang Mr Garden Centre, told him that one had gone for the other and he didn't sound at all surprised :( He offered to test my water for me when I can get there which I think is a downright cheek as I actually saw one fish attack another :(

Well, I'll keep everything crossed for the little fella and hope he survives ;)

Ahhh the poor little mite's out of his misery now :( After almost 10 days in a hospital tank of methylene blue (as recommended by the garden centre when I finally got there) he wasn't looking any better, but he wasn't looking any worse either :/ This morning all his colour seemed to have gone and when I just went to check on him, he was nowhere to be seen. I took the tank practically to pieces looking for him and eventually found him.......behind the tank, underneath the extension lead :( The opening 'flap' on that tank is only a thin flap at the front so he must have shot up in pain, dislodged the lid altogether and fallen out :( At least he's not suffering anymore :(

R.I.P Pikey :( I did everything I could :( xxxx

Aw thanks hun ;) It couldn't have been very nice for him but, in a way, (in an odd way, I suppose) I'm glad his suffering's finally over. I hope, when he gets to the giant aquarium 'up there' that he gets his revenge on the fish that tried to eat him :(
