hi can any one help me please

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah, i noticed 2 also. It looks like one of those orb or spheres they sell in the fancy fish tank section. It's definetely somethin round. If you look below the Ps tail the tank and stand curves inward.

This is the same guy with the post title piranha but asking about cichlid tankmates. Clearly a new owner.

well...I'm just a little confused. You come and ask for advice then you proclaim yourself the expert fish keeper and slam the gate.

400 liters is what? 105 gallons? That may seem like a large number, but with piranhas footprint is more important than total gallons. Piranhas grow to about 12" in captivity. Is your bowl atleast 18 inches wide? If so is it around 48" in length. A 125 gallon tank is recommended for 4 RBP's for life. Because they shoal you shouldn't keep less than 4. 125g is about 474 liters.

Our "lot" knows a fair amount about keeping this type of fish. If you don't want our advice then don't ask for it...:screwy:

so leme get this straight your saying we know nothing cause were american (which im proud to say im not lol) and disagree with you

i agree with diogenes dont ask for our advice if you cant handle the truth

you can also try to spell atleast every OTHER word correctly

i doubt its 400 litres gimme dimensions and i might belive you

i honestly hope you dont come back you have what 8 posts and are calling all us stupid and i have nothing against people with low post counts its only when they start insisting they know everything

i've searched the web looking for info on bio orbs and every site I can find that claims to sell the full line of bio orbs list 60 liters (16 gallons) as the largest size available. not trying to say you don't have a custom bio orb or that something is available in the uk that's not here, but...I doubt it.

8 gallons per pygo? the dominant fish must not have room to reach around and kill the other one.

me too....
also measuring the arc on the edge of the aquarium and doing a little math.....the fish in that picture must be at least 20 inches..... Not to mention that is a terrible design and would be very very easy to break a round 100 gallon tank. The wieght of the water at the heaviest point...(around the equator) would be pressing down completely unsuported.

thats just hilarious. In this section of the forum alone we have members from all over the world, but
if this is indeed the case then I'll tell you what. go to this site:

UK piranhas
http://www.piranhaforum.co.uk/forums/

and tell the guys over there that your keeping pygos in a 60 liter tank and see what they have to say.

I'm sorry. I totally had to steal this from another member. Don't know him personally but it's so apropos.
