As others have mentioned, a smaller species would probably be a better choice overall, though probably harder to come by as well... The easiest ones to come by are fahaka and pea puffers IME, maybe you could get 50+ pea puffers or something (albeit they don't need shelled foods, brine shrimp, blood worms, and snails work well for them)
