Do Hi Fin Banded Sharks eat lettuce? Because my brother has had one for a few days and he has not eaten the lettuce yet. We clipped it on the bottom but he has not touched it. Anyone know anything?

Thanks

try blanched zucchini and blood worms.... by the way they are a cold water species what is your tank temp???

does it look like this???

I have one and it has grown from 2" to 6 " in the past 4 months. I feed it crisps and blood worms about 3 times per day. Seems to grow kinda similar to goldfish. The more you feed it the more it grows. Every site i've read up on them all say it grows about 1" a year, and mine has done way more than that in just 4 months. Averaging 1" per month so far. Actually growing faster than my ID sharks.

Hi Fin Sharks are not Catfish. They are Cyprinids.

Yeah, I know but there is no Cyprinid section. So this is the closest thing.

Coldwater and Temperate Species forum is the closest.:) No matter the temperature, these fish are still classified as temperate species and therefore should be kept in temperature no higher than 24 degrees Celsius.
