hi fin black ghost knife

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
looking forward to seeing it. I own 10" a BGK and he is awesome. I also have an Aba aba, supper cool fish. My point is the BGK is a nice fish and gets along with everything in it's tank. The Aba aba has his own tank. Anything in it's tank is considered "feeders" including my hand! Depending on what your buying can make for an interesting evening :)

Yea aba aba are cool. My ornate bichir killed my aba trying to eat a fish almost his same size.

What size tank are you housing your aba aba in? Just curious as to how big of a tank it is knowing they get over 4 foot. I'd like to own one someday, they're one of my favorite knife fish.

Its normally in a 180 but I moved it temporarily to a 120 while I background and upgrade the plumbing on the 180. Check out my 120 thread for details. :)

I saw a few in a LFS here in Iceland yesterday, was very surprised. I have owned a "normal" BGK before and was about to post a thread about this hi-fin BGK when i saw this thread. Didnt take any pics but they were 2-3" and costs the same as normal BGK go for here in Iceland.
Very interesting fish :)
The dorsal fin was about 1/3 of the fish´s length.
