I've been keeping fish for about 40 years, with gaps in college when I couldn't have a tank. I've gone from freshwater to reef to freshwater planted, and then after our last move, started up a reef tank again. But I've always wanted an african cichlid tank, so I finally set one up a few months ago.
That's what led me here... trying to find a forum that was semi-active that knew something about cichlids!
