years ago i used to have ping pong balls in my O tanks lol, if my male picks up the rocks in his i'll be shocked lol. my dovii on the other hand well ill just be going to the beach to find bigger boulders i think lol i found that three pipe thing on the street hahaha. jags are mental It just dosn't feel right to not have a completely trashed tank and two big jags cutting around in it, its the only tank I cant keep in order, im mixing some slate chippings into the sand next week i have already removed most of it, i keep hearing sand getting sucked up into my power heads and i think its gonna kill the impeller.

seeing you tanks gives me ides but research before I commit to anything. Have been thinking about Discus but after researching and the multiple water changes per week I may be thinking about something else. It would not be an issue if I was always home but I do work away for a week at a time quite frequently so would be a bigger issue for my wife to do it, especially as she works shifts.

We do a weekly water change on our smaller tanks which I am always about to help with.

I think my first step is to decide what fish I want in the tank, then look at their requirements for hiding etc. then look at aquascaping and plants. I a in no rush and want to get it right before I fill the tank and let the water cycle for a couple of weeks.

Sounds like your on the right path neil research and time for thought is good , I can't tell you how many impulse buys I've done over the years that have gone pear shaped lol
