Where you from by the way, cuz some states, rays are illegal. I don't know anything about sw rays, but fw rays are very nice and they have very good personalities.
 
Us. New egland area. i beleave they are legal but ill look. (Ive seen them in Aqariums up hear so there must be at least some sort of bypass law. Ill probably order thoughs books tomorrow.

you should see me search to web.. ever since the octopus shortage a few months ago ive gotten so good at googling. One question is it possable to get a saltwater stingray or is it better to get a freshwater one?


not too versed at saltwater rays, but one thing i can tell you is that there are
more varieties of freshwater rays in the trade than saltwater. ;)

Every saltwater ray that I have every seen will prolly be to big for any tank under 10 grand. If possible it would be awsome to keep an eagle ray but I think that they even get to be 4 ft in wingspan. Doesnt seem like it would work. Go FW because its cheaper and the rays are awsome.
 
WELCOME!...You definately want freshwater rays, smaller size and more varieties. :stingray:
