Okay, Li I signed up.
I really didn't wanted to
but somebody told me today I had to or he would stick his fingers in one of my filter system so.........here I'm.
For those who don't know me, I'm Hans Koops van 't Jagt, who, what, were...... You can forget that name, I know you Americans have a little problem with my name, even my wife Joanne couldn't say it so when we got married she kept here own, Reed was easier.
I'm better known as Discus Hans and as you can see in my name I'm a Discoholic been this for almost 35 years now and have learned to live with it.
Moved a 4 years ago from Holland (The Netherlands, other side of the big water) to the USA with an idea and 2 suitgages with clothes. I got the offer from the biggest (and in my opinion the best) Discus breeder in the world, Stendker Discus in Germany, to get the sole rights to import the Stendker Discus into the USA. Now because you can't run a business like that from a small, cheese, cows and Heineken country on the other side, I had to move.
At that moment I was 47 years old and I had 2 options, say NO and regret the rest of my live I didn't do it or say YES and try to make for a few American their live misarable and for a lot their live happy by selling those Stendker Discus in the USA...................................You got it, I did the last.
I can tell you till now I enjoyed every day of it, got deforched (in Holland) and maried Joanne over here and together we run now Discus Hans USA.
This is most in a nut shell, probably (if time alows me) and the owner of the forum will not.....
before that, we will sure get to know each other better,
Hans
