Do you move the eggs or do you move the frys when they have hatched?
And how big is the pair?

I have a very dumb question n please forgive me as I've never done the discus thing. But you changed 100% of their water daily n cleaned too? Did you even run a filter on their tank??

I siphon them out with a gravel siphon/cleaner on usually the 2nd day after the spawn.right after eggs have hatched is the best time! While their still eggs their sticky so some stick n stay in tank.if you wait a extra day or two the fry fight the suction more.right after they hatch the go right up without a problem! Reason I ask the no filter thing is for 1st week in fry tank I don't use a filter only a airstone with twice a day 90% water changes with the parents tank water. What were a couple of the triggers for spawning discus?

I used air filters as you can see here:

They come in different sizes..

I have tried without filters as well and it works fine when you change that much water.

Some triggers for discus is to wait to change water for a few days then use a bit colder water so the temp in the tank drops a few Celsius.
And don't feed them under the time you don't change water and directly after the water change drop in some food they really like.

Sounds like they are quite easy to get to spawn.
I hope i will get a pair so i can try to raise some fry.

What do you feed the small frys?

Baby brine shrimp at 1st. Work up diced bloodworms, worms, krill, pellets, baby mollies,fry 7 day food blocks keep them from eating each other between meals. Once they hit 1/4" or so basically bout everything parents eat just chopped n diced to their size.

What are those food blocks you use?
And is it often they eat each other how many times a day do they need food not to do that?
