Hi Noob here

ok, thanks so much for your advice Thor. i will have to do some reserch on smaller sized cichlids and go from there.

25 tall? dang taller then my 112 gallon by an inch! anyways, great size for a pair of angels! a good community tank with corys larger bodied tetras and a pair of angels.

I have to agree with that, angels would love a tank that size.

Smaller CA's would be fine in that tank. Any Cryptoheros species, Rainbow cichlids, Firemouths, Aureum, etc.

If you really wanted some Jacks, you could pick up some small EBJDs and grow them out in there. It would be a couple of years before they would really need a larger tank.

Interseting tank dimesions 30x18.5x24 - Perfecto 56 gal. column - as long as a 30gal, as wide a 75 -125 gal and as tall as a 120xh and up. - Sounds like a great Angel Fish or Discus tank to me. Problem with New World cichlids cohabing in 30x18.5 there's really not enuff room for multiple species to own territories.
