i went to a lfs today and they had 3 inch high red texas for 10.99 each is this a good price..i wanna get them all they are really nice..oppinions

They are flowerhorns. I am not saying that derogatorily, just that those fish are all over the charts when it comes to price. I have yet to understand how the prices on flowerhorns (or the demand for them) is determined. Some shops will have 2 fish, one really unusual and colorful for $190. Then another one that nobody takes a second look at and they give it some crazy name and want $150 bucks for it 
That red texas is worth whatever you (or anyone else) will pay for it (just like any other fish). The problem is, being hybrids, they're all different so there is no real way of determining value.

Take it and Run......Yes Hybrid, Yes can be unstable, but if they turn out at all, 10.99 is a steal!

MANY "red texas" I have seen are nothing more than a regular texas, with a little extra spangling.
All the hype has not impressed me in the least.
