Hello everybody, I have been a fish hobyist for over 10 years. I started in the hobby working at a local pet store. I worked full and or part-time in the pet industry for over 8+ years until I finished my college degree in business. I would like to use my business degree in the pet or fish area at some time.
My specialty is freshwater fish. I have some basic saltwater knowledge. I have had tanks for 1 gallon up to 100 gallon. I usually keep African cichlids. I have bred a handfull of species of Africans as well as 1 species of dwarf west African cichlids.
I have enjoyed some of the pictures I have seen in my brief membership. Although I must say some of those pictures are a little unnerving with the quantity and sizes of "monster" fish being kept together.
Anyway, I don't want to make enemies on my first day. So I will stop here. I look forward to visiting the site and soaking up some new information.
