im going to be setting up a 10 gallon aquarium that had goldfish in it but when we moved the water got to hot and they burned and have not used that tank since then that was 2 years ago

hey this is my buddy michael and hes quite new to fish keeping so i introduced him into this awsome website. he has a 10 gallon aquarium like he said and he wants stocking ideas. ill be there to help him through it but quite a few of you have more knowledge on this stuff then me so help my buddy out a little haha

I'm interested in getting a 10 gallon tank started myself...I got a recommendation for a 20 gallon aquaclear filter and a 50 to 100 watt heater....that way you can pretty much put any peaceful community fish in the tank that don't grow too big
I'd recommend several neon tetra and maybe a couple guppies...you could also get some ghost shrimp, a couple red cherry shrimp, and a snail or two....definitely have some aquatic plants in the tank though - it will help with the nitrate levels in the tank
