Mollies and guppies really need more room than you have. Some neon tetras, harlequin rasboras, or a betta with cherry shrimps, as well as a couple of snails and some nice plants, would be the best bet. Be sure you know the requirements of each fish. There is an excellent article in this month's Aquarium Fish International entitled "Avoid the Worst Fishkeeping Mistakes" that will guide you very well in setting up this tank. For instance, the tank was too small for your goldfish to begin with, and you didn't need a heater -- goldfish are coldwater fish. If you wanted to do a coldwater setup, and thus never worry about overheating your fish again, some white cloud minnows would be nice. They come in normal and albino colorings, and long- and short- finned varieties. I would avoid a pleco in this setup, as there are very, very few that would be happy in a ten gallon. Some anubias or java fern would be a great addition with any of the above-mentioned fish, though some snails eat plants, so you'll need to do research on which ones to use. Shrimps are great because they eat the algae off of your plants without eating your plants. Just a few suggestions.
Wait-- I'm looking back up now... did you already stock the tank? Did you cycle the tank? Do you have water testing kits?
