hello monster fish keepers. I dont quite consider meself a monster fish keeper yet, but perhaps ill get there one day.

Anyways, I had fish when i was younger and now recently i have been bitten by the bug. I have a 4 month old 29 gallon tank going with 2 female convicts, 2 Gold Gouramis, 5 buenos aires tetras, a spotted raphael, and a clown pleco.

I am constantly on the lookout for cheap bigger tanks now, but alas being a poor as dirt college student makes it rather difficult.

cichlids are a good start for monster fish keepers. check out the classafieds for some good deals.if you don't have the money, buy some fish when they are small and you can save some money. and you can buy some time to get a larger tank... GL and welcome
