What is the longest you have had a fish disappear for after introducing into your system?
My jaguar catfish has been mia for 3 days now, i have even left the light off to try and entice him out.

If its comfort you seek hes just acclimating, he will come out of his shell soon enough. Unless theres aggresive tank mates that linger near him

my fish never disappear because i pulled out most of the decor and if one of my fish dissapear it jumped out of the tank lol, just be patient it will come out

I can walk all the way around and it has a canopy top so he is in there. The Problem lies in my tank decor and design. 4 different stumps with many hidey holes. I am not worried about finding him

Get use to it bro! My jaguar cat never comes out unless dark out. Lucky for me I mine out grew his cave an the only other option was my knife tube. But still it will not leave the clear tube. Mine will happily take pellets I drop in front of the tube

All the spots he can hide in are pretty small and when there is 4 more trying to hide in the same spot it will be pretty easy to spot. And i like to night watch anyway
