all I can say is paint it black
Nice setup, i like how your double door is just one piece. nice!!

I built my house around my sump! The framers thought it was pretty strange to have a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank in a foundation and the building inspectors raised a few eyebrows...

The plumbing is all in the wall, I added cabinet doors in the laundry room for access. It's nice having everything in the crawl-space, I don't have to worry about noisy pumps or flooding. :)

Nice setup. LOL at the building inspector comment.

I always thought it would be great to have the aquarium on one floor and all the pumps, sumps, etc. in the basement. I always invisioned running everything in the wall behind the tank and down to the basement. It's probably not practical for only a 125g tank, but would reduce the weight on the floor of not having another huge sump under it.

I see you have plastic over the fiberglass directly over the tank but dang Ive worked with that stuff and if you bump it 10 feet away its gonna go into the air and settle in the water like a magnet.I would be a nervous wreck if my sump was down there. At the very least I would have every inch of that fiberglass covered in plastic, but still unless your completely sealing it off a room with open fiberglass is going to collect fiberglass dust over time.

like the idea just don't like the fiberglass!:D
