Hifin Pleco? Identity and Food Matters

I have a HOB filter, and I can put a bubbler in the tank.

The fish in that tank are all growouts for my 150- a 2" midas, 5" sen. bichir, the 3" pleco, 2- 1.5" firemouths and a catfish.

If the others aren't having problems, the pleco shouldn't be (in terms of dissolved O2 anyway). What's your temp?

It always hangs around 83-85.

Your temp is a little high, which will affect the amount of dissolved o2 can be in the water. Drop your temp back to 78-80dF.

Yup that might be it then. See if there are any changes if/when you do it.

i got a pleco that size to and too this day i never see it eat anyy thing, however it is filled out like it has a well balanced died and it has to be eating something because ive had it for like a year now

i have the same pleco it eats the algae pellets. its probably eating at night when all the lights are of.
