One of my new acquisitions is this monster. Without gloves, he tags you. Anyone keep these? He is by far the most aggressive pleco I have seen. He won't tolerate another pleco in his tank. Just a spikey monster, love it. Sorry for the bad pics.

Nice pick up. When it's bigger you will be lucky if it tolerates any type of tank mate :)

Only really big ones I've seen owned by others were alone in the tank.

I have one in my tank for big plecos. He is the smallest at 11" and I've never seen him push anyone around (L155, L014, L083, L190 & L330). He also is not as spiky as my L155 that really torn the flesh off my hand (no more bare handing now).

Mine seems to have got the better of a larger L14, L330 and L95. He currently resides in his own tank. Lol. I assume a large acanthicus would be hard to free handle. This guy actively attempts to tag me during transfer and damn is he spikey, but like you said not sure his spikes are the size of a 155. I can tell you that they are sharp, and that he attempts to use them with malicious intent. lol

Really nice! If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick him up at? Have been doing my research and have been looking for different sources to purchase rare/exotic plecos.
