Which species prefer the high-flow aquarium layout? I know some west african cichlids, what else?

Amazon puffers and avocado puffers love high flow.
Numerous gobies as well.
And of course hillstream loaches.

There are also many African riverine species, especially from the Congo like Steaticranus, and Telegramma
Even a number of Gobys, barbs and mouth breeding Anabantids that inhabit fast flowing streams (Borneo)

Idk for sure but i would almost approach this topic opposite.
The only species i kept so far that didn't do well in high flow aquariums were silver dollar and guppies for some reason.

Some tetras seem to like medium amounts of water flow.
I think columbian tetras like a high flow rate the most.
White and Black skirt tetras certainly didn't like high flow rates.

If you want a small species of fish that likes fast flowing water, i would say go with tetras.
My experience:
Columbian tetra - high flow rate
Buenos aires tetras - Medium - high flow rate
Neon tetras - high flow rate
Red eye tetra - medium - high flow rate, quite skittish
Serpae tetra, reminds me of a less hardy columbian tetra kind of? seemed to like low flow rate

Fire mouth cichlid - Liked low - medium flow rate without hiding places or high flow rate with many hiding places.
I noticed that if a fire mouth cichlid has too much flow rate it will simply hide in PVC tubes.

Avoid silver dollars or guppies they seem like a very relaxed kind of fish.
