high LPS air pump for moving bed

Very nice. Thanks for the info. I ordered the ap100 just now. I'm really excited about this new set up.

How will I be able to disperse the air from the ap 100 evenly through the moving bed? Its a 48" bed with 12" of water to ensure a nice 50/50 k1 to water ratio. Do I need extra components or will my standard sized air stones work?

I don't think Alita even offers a model with comparable flow to an Ap100. IF they do you can probably buy 4+ pondmasters for the same price.

Do know it WILL need rebuilt every year to 16 months. Stock rebuild kits.

As far as the airstones - you get what you pay for. Buy $5 discs expect them to float. Buy $30 sintered glass discs and grab a bean bag - you'll enjoy a magical boiling show......

I could sit and watch a mean boiling moving bed for hours...... lol
