HIGH NITRATES

The nitrates are possibly coming from bio-load of filters. I have to rinse my bio max otherwise ill nvr get nitrates down either....

Been doing water changes more often and I'm down around 5 ppm, thanks for the suggestions guys. Tanks look cleaner too

Pomatomus, How do you know you have a good quantity of denitrifying bacteria? I thought they had to grow in an anaerobic environment.
