Given enough hype, I'm sure that someone would. Some people have to have the newest and greatest and are willing to do anything (think camping for days outside Best Buy to get a PS3, etc) to get it.

but really, if it wasnt for the internet, i dont think any fish would be considered HOT leading to high prices. Being hard to get is one thing (I would like Tigrina too) but if you charge farm for wild then your somewhat ripping people off.

as long as your not leading on that your selling a wild fish and it's actually farm bred than you aren't ripping people off. I don't see what the problem is here. The fact is a fish is worth what people will pay for it. Not what you think it should be, or what you can get it for!! some of us rarely see these kinds of fish!!!

At my LFS they have farm bred Ocellaris they said $40.00 for each. I know a guy that works there I asked him to mark it down to $10 each and He said OK and I got 2 lol.
