i don't know about that species of ants that only eat fungus, but must be a weakling species of ants.

what i know is this, driver-ants are the only insects known to have killed-and-consumed a human being.

and even the ordinary ants in our house eat left over meats and stuff, and they do eat earth worms which again contains lots and lots of "protein"

By the way, there ARE ants that only feed on fungus and vegetation for the most part.
Also, the largest land mammals happen to be herbivores.

but there's no denying the fact that those ants like the driver-ants are the stronger species of ants, because they are carnivorous and they have killed and consumed human beings.

also no one has yet to counter my intelligent theory about Gorillas being the true aryan race if they consider the meat only diet and evolve to bigger humans.
