I need to vent here....

I had my first day of junior year today... we'll be taking standardized tests soon and we have to put what we want to major in, in college.
Crap, Ive barely got an idea of what i wanna major in, let alone what school i want to go to.
To add on to that, Colletges pay most attention to junior year, so ive gotta work hard... ive always been an A student but i sure cant say ive tried my hardest in school.
So, Ive got to really work, focus, and Ive got the swim team to worry about, since i swim fron november to march.

And my biggest commitment next to classes is the fact that im the chief stage manager in student theater this year, (theater's big at my school). theater's year round and starts next week.

Ive got junior ring ceremony and prom, too...

Can anyone giev me advice or explain how they dealt with work in high school?
and in case anyone was wondering... its a private school.

Wow, i thought it was a girl until i saw jeff at the end.

On a more serious note, relax, have fun, do your best and don't treat this year any different then the year before. I managed to balance sports, school (b+ student), work and a gf throughout high school and i'm sure you'll be able to do the same. You'll feel spread thin at times but you'll be fine.

Just make grades your priority, don't worry about what major you choose. Most people don't know thier major until a few years into college anyways. As long as you concentrate on your grades, the rest will fit in.

The only thing you should think about in high school are getting good grades, B+ GPA is good and FEMALES:naughty:. Also, enjoy high school.... you will miss it. Go buck wild and get good grades.

Man that sucks i only go to school 4 hours a day and kick back. I am in the same grade as you to.

these people expect us to make huge decisions so early on in life... :irked:
on the upside my years in high school have only been getting more fun, so im guessing this year will have upsides as well.

I'm not saying grades are overrated but with the exception of getting into college and or an internship, they don't matter. Not once has it helped me get a higher payer job, lower loan interest rate, better insurance, etc etc.

Do try your best to get whatever you can out of school but it's not the end of the world if your grade slips below straight As
