This is the best I could do given my janky camera. The biggest difference between the high shine and your typical silver aro (that I can see) is the absence of any pink or pink lines in his scales and the overall body of the fish...and the high sheen of course. However, there is a very faint pink hue in his tail fin which I assume prevents him from being a platinum??? Looks very close to platinum though and I did have someone who deals with fish professionally on a day to day basis think he was a platinum. He is not white though like the snow whites. He is just very shiny! I am no expert by any means so someone who is can chime in at any time.
