High stress levels...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yes, the 10g is just a quarantine. Im goign to PS tomorrow to buy a few plants/rocks, ill buy that API kit then and test it. if it tests ok shuld i put him in it tomorrow?

And yea, hes the only one going in right now, in a few days ill add another bichir, and a few ropes..

Bump?

Nitrites are still in the stress zone, just at the very end, almost safe, but still under the stress part..

I guess ill test the water tomorrow, and if its good enough ill go ahead and put him in the 70g..

sounds like your tank isnt cycled, id chill on adding anymore fish. You wanna see some sign of nitrate. So you know you have bacteria. high nitrite with no nitrate is weird and bad for your fish

well, the 70g shows that both the nitrates and nitrites are safe. The 10g shows a little bit of pink on the nitrate, and the nitrites show up as stress..

Ill test em tomorrow with a more advanced test kit and see what i should do then..

Your 70, if it has not had any ammonia source, will not be cycled either. It will also read completely safe. If I were you, I would move the bichir, and then let nature take it's course with the cycling.

Yea, i moved him a second ago, the lights are off and such for him to settle down a bit.. let him adjust and such..
