Very nice. $4 a piece is great. Hope they have piles for you! Maybe they'll have soooo many you can get a 75 or 90 g tank to showcase your gorgeous lace plant. I just started catching up on your pothos thread. Over 1100 posts and counting. Very impressive. As soon as I'm caught up, I'll post a diy challenge for you, my forum friend.

Haha yeah its a pretty epic sticky. I'm so glad it helped out so many people and essentially helped their fish by reducing ammonia/nitrates and saving them $ by lowering their water change regimen. Glad I could actually contribute something to MFK cuz before then I was kind of a p.I.t.a/know it all! Still kind of am but I've mellowed out a bit, "Granny" aka Petspoiler had some heart to hearts with me, basically she's my BFF! Lol

Looking forward to the challenge, I'm trying to get it popular in the reptile/viv/rip world (where applicable) My crested geckos love them and they help filter the dirt and air!

*update*

Rearranged a few things to clean the "look" up a bit! Red Nesea likes to uproot or my shrimp/piranha likes too, same with furcata! Also bumped up the Co2 to 4bps to keep bba in check. Tested my ph just before gas turned off and compared it to a water sample 24 hours later, results show about 20ppm concentrations which is probably why I have a slight algae problem ATM.

Thanks but a flying fox is a nickname for a SAE I thought? This guy has a yellow strip with tiny red barbs by his mouth.

Here he is:uploadfromtaptalk1392059182829.jpgView attachment 988753

Here's one of my SAE'S:uploadfromtaptalk1392059236493.jpg

Maybe a loach of some sort?

Moving my lace really stunted its growth. seems like its finally recovered but if I left it in its original spot no doubt the tank would have been taken over!

Thanks!

No, a flying fox is something that is offend confused with a SAE. You might learn more by looking into fish commonly confused for SAE.

Interesting as my lfs labels the sae's as flying foxes... point being I ordered 2 Otto's and got kalopterus and an Otto, oh well its still a good fish in a planted tank from what I gathered.

Not sure how they could mistaken this fish for a Otto but I should have noticed, having plants in the same bag didn't help!

Thanks for the ID
