when I lived up north, I used to pay 10 bucks each.. and I talked to my friend, and he says it's still the same price... down here in Florida.. which everything seems to be high priced... they want 14.99 for 1 lb of blood worms... but like I said everything here is way over priced, because all the lfs's want to get rich over night, and I think they are ruining it for themselves. people are just going to quit the hobby... and I see it on here and people are getting rid of their multi tanks set-ups and sticking with one... pretty soon that will get boring, and they will just get out... i see it all the time.... especially with the salt water set ups... thousands of dollars later. and people are done with it....
now with the gas getting higher and higher, I see that all the shipping cost are going up. so that will ensure raise just about everything a crossed the board, from food to equipment.. so I see food going up really soon, at least a buck... maybe more...
it's sad to say, but I think in the next few years this awesome hobby is going to be in a real hurt... but that's just my opinion...
