Hikari "Food Sticks" vs "Jumbo CarniSticks"?

Hi,

I have a fully grown Oscar who has been eating Hikari "food sticks". I'm considering switching him over to the "jumbo" version.

Any thoughts positive or negative?

Mine ate Jumbo Carnisticks as main staple. She loved them. Feed one at a time. Mine would swim away when full. If you can it would be a good idea to get a fish that will eat all the scraps that come out the gills. Silver Dollars, catfish, a smaller different color different shape cichlid.

IIRC the formulation is the same. It's just the size that differs.

My silver Arowana, Oscars and Red Texas have transitioned to the Jumbo Carnisticks as they grow. I agree with the above that it's good to have fish to snuffle up the leftover bits with Oscars. They are tremendously messy eaters.

It's also not nearly all that I feed as it's very high in fat. They also get New Life Spectrum Float in increasingly large sizes, Omega One Super Color cichlid pellets and flakes, shrimp, plankton, baby convict cichlids (sorry, little guys!), earthworms, mealworms and crickets.
