Well my Green Terror is getting tired of flakes. He goes up to see what I'm feeding then founds out that it's flakes then just goes back down and chill with it's fry, lol.

I work at petsmart and we have the pellets by Hikari. We have the Cichlid staple, cichlid gold, cichlid biogold or sumthin, and some other 1 that i can't think of.

What would be a good pellet for my Terror. Something that will of course give great color but also help it grow big and strong and healthy. I want to use one of the Hikari brands but they have too many and idk which one would work my terror. I want him to be a big male with great color, but I don't know which one is going to suit it's needs. Thanx alot.

U can't go wrong with any hikari product IMO.

bio-gold. you're better off buying it online, though. unless you get employee discount. biogold is like $20 at petsmart, but only $9 online (even through petsmart). I don't understand this price differential, but whatever...

That is correct. I don't understand it either.

its a terrible company. They will price match though. They used to pricematch bigals for me until I ran into the wrong b**** manager who told me "we can't pricematch the whole world." I told her bigals was the biggest fish store I knew of and they should match them especially since they have 10+ times before. I went home and printed off poopsmarts add and told the lady "here's a major competitor" and ended up getting it for cheaper than bigals anyways lol. Stupid b....

anyways.. Hikari gold is good. Its a good idea to vary his diet between a few different foods though. Just don't feed feeders, especially from your work lol.
