hikari gold or massivore?

im gettin ready to buy and start pellets training my bass.. my question is should i go with hikari gold (LARGE) or hikari massivore? im going to buy a small bag for now and the gold is alot cheaper... also will the bass train easier off of floating or sinking pellets?

I think you should get hikari food sticks and some frozen food to transition them over.

they are all completley on frzn tilapia and shrimp right now... why are the sticks better to start them off on?

Either or is good. If your feeling a little saucy, Get both of um.

ordered the floating gold large... it was the cheapest for the most oz. and i figure once i get them eating the pellets then i can switch to the sticks or massivore

I don't like Massivore...too messy and too much particulate matter. Hikari Gold is the best, IMO.

Massivore is the way to go. Fish grow so much faster than they do w/ the gold. Ive used both and prefere massivore. Massivore smells more and might help w/ the transition.

they will take massivore more easily IMO but i really dont think massivore should be fed as a staple

Hikari Bio-Gold +, Massivores make your water and fish room smell, and no, i'm not over feeding, i've added a few Massivores, and they still stink up my water.

Just my opinion.

Gold and sticks start with the sticks as they will accept them easier then add the gold slowly this is from my experience very minimal smell and waste have never tried masiv... So couldn't comment on that what I have noted though is cheapest is not always the best.
