Hikari Massivore vs. Hikari Cichlid gold

BTW mgk, this is what Hikari has listed for ingredients for Cichlid Gold, I'm not sure what formula you have listed above?

Fish meal, flaked corn, wheat flour, gluten meal, brewer's dried yeast, starch, enzyme, garlic, astaxantin, DL-methionine, monosodium glutamate, vitamins and minerals including stabilized vitamin C.

There was probably a formula change. I see that a lot where online vendors use old outdated info on various fish foods. Too lazy (or cheap) to update their websites would be my guess.

well i would say the formula looks like it got a lot cheaper, they even put MSG in it lol

MSG has been on the label for a number of years, that much I do know.

I don't know of any other fish food manufacturer in the world that adds MSG to their food. Perhaps someone should ask the Hikari reps what purpose MSG adds, to a fishes diet.
